Note: If a provider is found to be out of compliance and the state is seeking to revoke their license or registration, the provider is required to post the revocation notice in a place where it is visable to the public. In many circumstances, the provider is still able to operate their child care business until a final action is taken by the state. Please contact your county DHS office if you have questions about the provider, wish to review the registration or licensing file, or wish to file a complaint.

The Department of Human Services works with five Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) agencies around the state to provide parents with information and referral services in finding quality child care. Each agency serves a different geographic area of Iowa, as shown on the map above.
