Covered Services

Administrative services for Iowa’s Community-Based Child Abuse Prevention (CBCAP) Program include:
  • Development of a strategic, long-term and outcome focused approach for CBCAP initiatives, programs and activities that promote sustainable, systems change for Child Maltreatment prevention that is integrated with other strategic planning efforts in Child welfare, early Childhood and/or other related systems.
  • Identify and assess community strengths as well as gaps in Child protection services and supports and leverage resources to address gaps.
  • Development, evaluation, and submission of formal recommendations regarding requests for Proposal (RFP) regarding CBCAP initiatives, programs and activities that reflect a state-wide continuum of preventive, family centered, comprehensive services reduce the rate of Child abuse and neglect in Iowa.
  • Establish and maintain multiple linkages and relationships informal and professional support and resources while providing operational assistance and training, technical assistance and evaluation assistance.
