Welcome to IA Health Link, Iowa’s new Medicaid managed care program.

IA Health Link will join together physical health, behavioral health, and long-term care in one program across Iowa. Most current Medicaid members will be enrolled in IA Health Link starting March 1, 2016, pending final federal approvalIA Health Link gives you the same health coverage you know and use, but will be covered by a managed care organization (MCO) that you get to choose. Our Frequently Asked Questions webpage is regularly updated to offer the latest information to help members get the care they need, and help providers get paid for the important services they deliver.   • IA Health Link Medicaid Program Changes Webinar Videos: The webinar recordings of the IA Health Link Medicaid Program Changes are now available on the IA Health Link web page. View the recordings that cover the latest information on the changes involving the Iowa Medicaid transition to managed care. The video webinars cover important topics for Iowa Medicaid members. 
     
  • Des Moines and Ottumwa Member Training Events Have Been Rescheduled: Due to anticipated severe weather on February 2, 2016, the IA Health Link member training events in Des Moines and Ottumwa have been rescheduled. The member training event in Des Moines will take place on February 8, 2016, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the East Side Library in the H. Dale and Lois Bright community room, located at 2559 Hubbell Ave., Des Moines, IA 50317. The member training event in Ottumwa will take place on February 11, 2016, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bridge View Center in room C4, located at 102 Church St., Ottumwa, IA 52501. Iowa Medicaid is hosting in-person meetings in cities throughout Iowa to provide the public with an opportunity to receive information about the IA Health Link transition. Members can ask questions directly to DHS staff, and receive in-person enrollment assistance. Please forward this notice to anyone who may be impacted by or interested in this scheduling change.
     
  • Letter Announcing Update to the Launch of IA Health Link: The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has reached a decision on the IA Health Link managed care program. The program will begin March 1, 2016, instead of January 1, 2016, pending final federal approval. Read the announcement letter.
