Request for Child Care Training Approval Form - The resource for training organization managers to apply for DHS child care credit for their organization’s trainings/professional development.  To save the Request for Child Care Training Approval Form, click print icon on the top right hand corner of the page,  click the change button next to Destination, click the save as PDF option, click the save button, enter file name, and click the save button.

Support and Accreditation Networks

In addition to licensing, registration, and regulation requirements, child care providers have support and accreditation networks that they may choose to participate with.

Child care center programs may choose to obtain accreditation through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) or use local resources through the Iowa Association for the Education of Young Children (IowaAEYC).
