The Quality Rating System (QRS) is a voluntary program that provides a rating of between one and five stars for providers who go the extra mile to offer exceptional care.
The QRS was created to raise the quality of child care in Iowa, to increase the number of children in high-quality child care settings, and to educate parents about quality in child care.
Currently the QRS Oversight Team is in the process of recalibrating Iowa's QRS and is soliciting feedback from stakeholders regarding the proposed changes. Below are proposed drafts of the newly re-calibrated sections. If you wish to submit feedback please do so through the survey which can be found at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/KHMZ5R8.
