Consumer Choices Option (CCO) Trainings


HCBS Quality Oversight conduct web-based training sessions regarding the HCBS Waiver self-direction program, the Consumer Choices Option (CCO). The webinars cover a general overview of CCO including the philosophy of self-direction, eligibility, allowable service types, responsibilities of those involved, budgeting and savings plans, as well as training sessions for individuals interested in becoming Independent Support Brokers (ISB) through the CCO program of the Iowa Medicaid Enterprise (IME). Individuals completing the ISB trainings must have internet and email access, be able to complete all training requirements, and pass a background check in order to participate in the ISB Training. 

December 2015 Training
HCBS Quality Oversight conducted a web-based training session regarding the Consumer Choices Option. The webinar covered year-end budget information, federal labor laws, overtime and block payments, and general updates. The webinar was held on Tuesday, December 22, 2015. August 2015 Training

May 2015 Training

Independent Support Brokers (ISB) Training Series
These training sessions are for individuals interested in becoming ISBs through the Consumer Choices Option (CCO) program of the Iowa Medicaid Enterprise (IME).
