The Reauthorization of the Child Care and Development Block Grant (CCDBG) was signed into law on November 19, 2014. The law establishes the funding and federal policy direction for child care. These requirements will be outlined in federal rules under the Child Care Development Fund (CCDF), the name given to the federal child care program.

Iowa Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) State Plan
The Iowa Department of Human Services, Division of Adult, Children and Family Services submitted the State Plan to the Administration for Children and Families, Office of Child Care on March 1, 2016 and are now awaiting federal approval.
