Choosing a Health Plan

The IA Health Link managed care program gives you health coverage through a Managed Care Organization (MCO). An MCO is a health plan that makes sure you get the care you need from their network of providers.

Members who are currently enrolled with Amerigroup or UnitedHealthcare will be able to change their MCO during their next annual choice period or for reasons of 'Good Cause.' To verify your annual choice period, please call Iowa Medicaid Member Services.
