Medicaid Meetings

Iowa Medicaid holds town halls monthly with providers and members to share updates, gather feedback and address provider and member concerns. Provider town halls take place on the third Thursday every month, and member town halls take place bi-monthly.

Iowa Medicaid frequently hosts public meetings to gather feedback and ideas from members, providers and stakeholders on specific topics. These meetings are held virtually, are open to the public and will be posted here when available. 

Iowa Medicaid hosts quarterly, bi-annual and annual board meetings. These board meetings are attended by staff and open to the public. Board meetings include:

Medical Assistance Advisory Council (MAAC)

Healthy and Well Kids of Iowa (Hawki) Board 

Clinical Advisory Committee (CAC)

Drug Utilization Review (DUR)

Pharmaceutical and Therapeutics (P&T)

Important reminder for Home Health Care Service providers - Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) goes into effect on January 1, 2024. On or after January 1, all Home Health Care Services that are not submitted via the CareBridge EVV solution will be denied.
